Watch: Shane Wright KO's opponent inside 7 seconds at Fury FC 83

Shane Wright delivered a spectacular knockout at Fury FC 83, but he also showed a rare display of sportsmanship after the fight. Wright landed a devastating right hand that sent his opponent Houston Nole crashing to the canvas in the first round of their featherweight bout. As Nole lay motionless on the mat, Wright kneeled down and gestured to the crowd to stop cheering the violent finish.

The knockout was captured on video by Fury FC and Grabaka Hitman, and can be seen below . Wright’s gesture was met with applause and appreciation from the fans and commentators, who praised him for his class and respect.

Wright, who improved his record to 3-2 with the win, snapped a two-fight losing streak with the impressive performance. He had suffered a second-round knockout loss in his previous fight against Jalen Fuller at Fury FC 77. Nole, on the other hand, dropped to 0-2 in his professional career, with both losses coming by knockout in less than a minute.

Fury FC 83 took place on Saturday, September 16, at UMAC in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and featured 13 bouts in total. The event was streamed live on UFC Fight Pass, the official digital subscription service of the UFC.

Fury FC is one of the leading regional promotions in the US, showcasing some of the best up-and-coming talent in mixed martial arts.
