UFC Paris promises to deliver high-octane action, especially in the much-anticipated main event between Renato Moicano and Benoit Saint Denis. Both fighters successfully made weight for their lightweight showdown during Friday's official weigh-ins, each tipping the scales at 156 pounds. Fans are eager to witness Moicano, who currently ranks No. 11 in the UFC Lightweight Rankings, face off against the No. 12-ranked Saint Denis. The French fighter is set for his first-ever main event on home soil, adding excitement for local supporters.

While Moicano and Saint Denis showed no issues making weight, not all fighters had an easy time. Argentinian bantamweight Ailin Perez found herself in trouble. Coming in at 136.5 pounds, Perez missed the bantamweight limit by 0.5 pounds and visibly struggled during the weigh-in. She looked awful on the scale, reported an observer, noting that Perez was shaking and had to be assisted after her weight was recorded. As a result, her bout with Darya Zheleznyakova has been converted to a catchweight fight, with Perez forfeiting 20 percent of her purse as a penalty.

The rest of the UFC Paris card is stacked with exciting matchups. Fighters like Nassourdine Imavov and Brendan Allen will compete in a thrilling middleweight co-main event, and several other bouts promise fireworks, including William Gomis vs. Joanderson Brito and Kevin Jousset vs. Bryan Battle.

Main Card:

  • Renato Moicano (156) vs. Benoit Saint Denis (156)

  • Nassourdine Imavov (186) vs. Brendan Allen (186)

  • Morgan Charriere (146) vs. Gabriel Miranda (146)

  • Fares Ziam (156) vs. Matt Frevola (156)

As UFC Paris draws near, fight fans are on the edge of their seats for what promises to be an unforgettable night of MMA action.
