The UFC's return to Paris is set to feature a standout lightweight clash. On September 28, Accor Arena will host a high-stakes bout between contenders Renato Moicano and Benoit Saint-Denis.
Initial reports of the fight came from Ag. Fight has since confirmed that both fighters have signed their bout agreements for a five-round main event. Sources close to the situation, who requested anonymity as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement, provided these details.
Renato Moicano (19-5-1) enters the octagon riding a three-fight winning streak. His most recent victory was a TKO against Jalin Turner at UFC 300 in April. Moicano has been on an impressive run, winning five of his last six fights, with his only loss coming on short notice to Rafael dos Anjos.
Paris native Benoit Saint-Denis (13-2) will headline a UFC event for the first time, and he'll do so in front of his home crowd. Saint-Denis aims to bounce back from a knockout loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 299 in March, which ended his five-fight winning streak, all of which were finishes.
Moicano's consistency and Saint-Denis' home advantage set the stage for an electrifying showdown. With this addition, the UFC Paris card is shaping up to be an exciting event, featuring other notable matchups:
Renato Moicano vs. Benoit Saint-Denis
Joanderson Brito vs. William Gomis
Nora Cornolle vs. Germaine de Randamie
As anticipation builds, fans can look forward to a night of thrilling fights and high stakes at the Accor Arena.
