UFC 312 Weigh-in Results: Du Plessis vs. Strickland Official, One Fight Scrapped

The official weigh-ins for UFC 312 went smoothly for the main event and co-main event competitors, as Dricus du Plessis, Sean Strickland, Zhang Weili, and Tatiana Suarez all successfully hit their marks on Friday.

Set to take place at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, the middleweight championship headliner remains intact, with du Plessis and Strickland coming in at the divisional limit of 185 pounds. Meanwhile, strawweight champion Zhang Weili tipped the scales at 115 pounds. At the same time, her challenger, Tatiana Suarez, came in just under the limit at 114.5 pounds for their highly anticipated co-main event showdown.

All 24 scheduled fighters initially present at the weigh-ins made weight, ensuring a full night of action for fight fans. However, there was one notable setback, as a flyweight bout on the preliminary card was canceled before the weigh-ins even began. Officials announced that Nyamjargal Tumendemberel had encountered weight management issues, leading to the removal of his scheduled bout against Hyun Sung Park from the card.
