In what was billed as his toughest challenge yet, Pimblett secured a textbook triangle choke that left Green unconscious on the canvas, solidifying his status as a rising star in the lightweight division.

The bout, held at Co-op Live in Manchester, England, saw Pimblett (22-3) swiftly handle Green (32-16-1) with impressive grappling skills. Green came out aggressive, swinging for the fences before shooting for a takedown. Pimblett, always sharp on the ground, immediately grabbed Green's neck for a guillotine choke. When Green managed to escape, Pimblett quickly transitioned to a triangle choke, pulling Green’s leg to tighten the hold. As Green attempted to sit back and adjust, Pimblett incorporated an armbar, ensuring Green had no chance to escape. At 3:22 of the first round, Green was rendered unconscious, and the fight was waved off.

After the fight, Pimblett didn't waste any time calling out UFC lightweight contender Renato Moicano, signaling his intentions for higher-profile bouts.

Each fight has further cemented his reputation as a serious contender in the lightweight division.

For King Green, this loss drops him to 3-2 in his last five outings. Despite his aggressive start, Green found himself outmatched by Pimblett's superior grappling techniques. The fight highlighted areas where Green will need to improve as he continues his career.

Pimblett’s impressive performance at UFC 304 not only silenced his critics but also propelled him closer to a shot at the top-tier fighters in the lightweight division. As he continues his climb up the UFC ladder, fans and analysts alike will be eager to see who he faces next.
