Tommy Fury, the younger brother of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, is willing to face Jake Paul in the PFL, aiming to beat him not just in the boxing ring but also inside the MMA cage. After his recent training with UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall, Fury expressed his interest in taking on Paul in the PFL.

Fury hasn’t competed in combat sports for almost a year. His last bout took place in October, where he defeated YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI by unanimous decision, despite early difficulties. Soon after, Fury underwent hand surgery, sidelining him for all of 2024. However, he’s now back in training and recently tested his skills in MMA during a session with Aspinall.

While Fury is primarily known for his boxing prowess, he’s shown a growing interest in MMA. His training session with Aspinall sparked more intrigue when Fury commented on a potential fight with his old rival, Jake Paul. The two previously faced off in a boxing ring, but Fury is now open to facing Paul in a different environment—the PFL cage. Paul is scheduled to fight Mike Tyson in November and is expected to make his MMA debut afterward, leaving the door open for a future clash between the two.

“Jake Paul’s in the PFL isn’t he?” Fury said in a YouTube video with Aspinall. “I’m going to smash his face in when I get better at MMA. I’ll beat him in boxing and the cage.” Fury believes that with more MMA training, he could easily take down Paul in both sports. “I reckon a year-and-a-half to two years of training until I’ll beat him in a fight. It’ll be no problem in the cage,” he added.

With both fighters being prominent figures in crossover boxing and MMA, a rematch—this time in the PFL—could draw significant attention. Fans will eagerly watch to see if this rivalry evolves from the boxing ring to the MMA cage.
