Metal vocalist Alex Terrible, best known as the frontman of Slaughter to Prevail, has made an explosive entry into the world of bare-knuckle fighting. Over the weekend, the Russian musician stepped into the ring for his bare-knuckle debut in Russia and delivered a first-round finish against Mukhamedkhan Ospanov, marking the beginning of his combat sports journey.
Terrible had previously signed with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), but the promotion required him to gain experience before officially making his debut. Instead of waiting, he decided to return to Russia, where he could compete without needing a formal fighter’s license. His performance in RCC Hard has now positioned him for a potential fight in BKFC later this year.
Following his victory, Terrible took to Instagram to share his excitement and gratitude with fans.
“Thank you for your support guys,” he wrote. “I wanted to fight in BKFC in December, but they told me I need to have a fighter license. So I decided to go to Russia and have a fight in RCC Hard [because] in Russia nobody asks you for a license. Well, now I have it! Let’s see what’s next!”
While his first-round finish was impressive, Terrible admitted he was somewhat disappointed the fight didn’t last longer, as he had hoped to gain more experience. Despite his growing passion for fighting, he made it clear that music remains his top priority.
“I want to fight more this year. But music is my number one priority so we will see.”
With his bare-knuckle debut now behind him, Terrible is looking ahead to a potential BKFC fight, but his schedule remains packed with international tours and festival appearances in the United States with Slaughter to Prevail in 2025.
Whether in the ring or on stage, Terrible continues to embrace new challenges while keeping his fans engaged.
