Shannon Briggs and Rampage Jackson to Settle Their Score in the Ring

Shannon Briggs and Rampage Jackson are finally set to clash in the boxing ring. The two heavyweights have been talking about fighting each other for a long time. They even coached opposite teams in the short-lived Triller Triad Combat in 2021.

They said they would fight in 2022, but it never happened. Neither did it happen in 2023. Shannon Briggs looked like he was heading to retirement, while Rampage Jackson planned to return to MMA. He signed with the United Fight League and was expected to fight again in late 2023.

But now, Shannon Briggs vs. Rampage Jackson is on. They are both in Saudi Arabia to promote Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou. The PFL star will make his boxing debut against ‘The Gypsy King’ on an ESPN pay-per-view tomorrow night.

Shannon Briggs told DAZN today that he will fight Rampage Jackson on February 17th in Florida. No other details have been announced for the event. “Everyone will see what happens to MMA fighters tomorrow,” Briggs said to Jackson today. “And I’ll show you again in February.”

It will be the first fight for both men in a long time. Shannon Briggs last fought in 2016, when he knocked out Emilio Zarate. Rampage Jackson last fought in 2019, when he was knocked out by Fedor Emelianenko
