Seksan Or Kwanmuang Responds to Liam Harrison's Challenge

The Muay Thai community is abuzz with anticipation as Seksan Or Kwanmuang has officially accepted Liam Harrison's challenge for a potential final bout in his illustrious career.

Liam Harrison, known for his striking prowess, made his intentions clear on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), expressing his desire to face Seksan in what could be a defining moment in both fighters' careers.

However, one significant obstacle in arranging this highly anticipated clash is the difference in weight classes between the two athletes. While Harrison has competed at bantamweight in ONE Championship, Seksan has fought at the catchweight of 140 pounds.

Despite this disparity, Seksan has shown his willingness to meet Harrison's challenge, emphasizing his readiness to fight as long as it's at his preferred weight class.

"I’m ready to meet you at 140 pounds," Seksan affirmed.

Harrison, currently recovering from knee surgery, had to withdraw from a scheduled Muay Thai bout against former ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion John Lineker. Despite acknowledging that he may be past his prime, Harrison remains resolute in his quest for a farewell fight.

“It would be an absolute honor for me, sir. 140 [pounds], no problem. See you next year, legend,” Harrison responded to Seksan.

Seksan, who has been enjoying a remarkable run in ONE Championship, secured his eighth consecutive victory last December by defeating River Daz via split decision. The 34-year-old Thai fighter is riding high on an unbeaten streak and is open to facing any challenger in his weight class.
