Get ready, Atlanta! The biggest name in Muay Thai, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, is returning to the US on November 8th at the State Farm Arena. The ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion is set to put his belt on the line in a highly anticipated rematch against England's Jacob Smith.
Rodtang, known as "The Iron Man," has taken the world of Muay Thai by storm with his electrifying fighting style, which has earned him a massive social media following. As he prepares to face Jacob Smith for the second time, he's confident in his abilities.
Their last encounter in May 2022 was a unanimous decision win for Rodtang, advancing him in the flyweight Muay Thai Grand Prix. Since then, he's been on a roll, delivering one of the best fights of the year in June against Denis Puric in a kickboxing bout. His last title defense in November 2022 was a convincing win over strawweight champion Joseph Lasiri.
Rodtang's return to the US is part of ONE Championship's stacked card, which features four world championship fights, including three-division champion Anatoly Malykhin defending his heavyweight title against Oumar "Reug Reug" Kane in the main event. Christian Lee will also be defending his lightweight crown against Alibeg Rasulov, while Tawanchai puts his ONE featherweight Muay Thai world championship on the line against Jo Nattawut in a trilogy fight.
