RIZIN Fighting Federation Celebrates its 10th anniversary
With "RIZIN 49: DECADE" on December 31, 2024, at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. This milestone event underscores RIZIN's significant contributions to the global mixed martial arts (MMA) landscape since its inception in 2015.

Featherweight Championship Rematch: Current champion Chihiro Suzuki will defend his title against former champion Kleber Koike Erbst. Their previous encounter at RIZIN 43 in June 2023 ended in controversy when Erbst missed weight, leading to a no-contest despite his submission victory.
Lightweight Title Bout: Champion Roberto Satoshi Souza is slated to face challenger Vugar Karamov. Souza, known for his exceptional grappling skills, will meet Karamov, who has been impressive in the featherweight division.
Flyweight Championship: Kyoji Horiguchi, a prominent figure in both RIZIN and Bellator, is expected to defend his flyweight title against Nkazimulo Zulu. Horiguchi reclaimed the flyweight championship at RIZIN 45 in December 2023.

'Raijin Bangai' Series: This segment will feature matches between former MMA fighters and celebrity athletes, highlighting the sport's broad appeal. Notably, Kouta Miura, son of soccer legend Kazuyoshi Miura, is set to return to the ring against Daichi Tomizawa from BreakingDown.
Boxing Exhibition: An anticipated boxing match between Ryan Garcia and Rukiya Anpo was initially scheduled for this event. However, due to Garcia's injury during training, the bout has been postponed, with expectations for it to occur in early 2025.

RIZIN has expanded its broadcasting reach to cater to a global audience. The event will be available on platforms such as U-NEXT and ABEMA, ensuring international accessibility.
