The Professional Fighters League (PFL) is making history by taking its highly anticipated 2024 World Championship event to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 29. This marks the first time the annual event will be held outside of the United States, adding extra excitement to the stacked fight card. The announcement was made during Thursday’s PFL: Battle of the Giants press conference by CEO Peter Murray.

The event will feature six thrilling title bouts, with each champion walking away with a $1 million prize, solidifying their place in PFL history. Among the standout matchups, fans are particularly excited for the women’s flyweight showdown between Dakota Ditcheva and former UFC title challenger Taila Santos. Ditcheva, a rising star in the sport, earned her place in the final with a stunning knockout of Jena Bishop. Santos, on the other hand, secured her spot with a hard-fought decision win over Bellator champion Liz Carmouche.

Another must-watch fight on the card is Brendan Loughnane, who is eyeing a second $1 million prize as he battles Timur Khizriev for the featherweight championship. Loughnane has been on an impressive run and looks to continue his dominance in the division.

Other championship fights include Brent Primus vs. Gadzhi Rabadanov for the lightweight title, Shamil Musaev vs. Magomed Umalatov for the welterweight belt, Impa Kasanganay vs. Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov for the light heavyweight crown, and Denis Goltsov vs. Oleg Popov for heavyweight supremacy.

The PFL World Championship in Saudi Arabia promises to be a monumental event, with global attention on the fighters and the incredible $1 million prizes at stake.
