PFL Unveils Stacked Bantamweight Roster for 2025 World Tournament

The PFL has officially revealed its bantamweight lineup for the 2025 World Tournament. The lineup features a mix of established veterans, rising prospects, and a recent UFC fighter aiming for redemption. The 135-pound division will battle for a $500,000 grand prize, making it one of the most competitive tournaments in PFL history.

Among the notable names is Jake Hadley, who recently departed from the UFC after a disappointing run. Hadley earned his UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2021 with a submission win over Mitch Raposo, despite missing weight for the fight. UFC CEO Dana White praised him as a big-time talent. Still, his tenure in the promotion saw inconsistent performances, as he lost three of his last four fights, including a decision defeat to Cameron Smotherman in October. Now, Hadley looks to restart his career in the PFL.

Hadley isn’t the only high-profile name in the tournament. Magomed Magomedov, a former Bellator title challenger, will also compete after losing a controversial decision to Patchy Mix at Bellator Paris this past May. Additionally, 10-fight Bellator veteran Leandro Higo joins the field, bringing a wealth of experience to the competition.

The bantamweight tournament boasts several undefeated rising stars, including:

  • Sarvarjon Khamidov (16-0)

  • Ciaran Clarke (10-0)

Other top names include Ali Taleb (12-1), Kasum Kasumov (16-1), and Spain’s Zebenzui Ruiz (12-3). PFL has also announced two alternates for the tournament: Francesco Nuzzi (10-1) and Matheus Mattos (14-3-1), both of whom could step in if needed.

With such a talented field, the PFL 2025 Bantamweight World Tournament promises to deliver high-level action, as fighters battle for a chance to claim gold and a lucrative payday.
