VanZant, known for her tenacity and versatility across combat sports, made her Power Slap debut in June, where she secured a unanimous decision win against Christine Wolmarans. During the bout, she knocked down her opponent twice, showcasing her power in the controversial slap-fighting arena. The victory was a morale boost for VanZant, who had struggled with a four-fight losing streak that spanned multiple disciplines, including MMA, bare-knuckle boxing, and traditional boxing. Her last UFC appearance was in 2020 when she was submitted by Amanda Ribas at UFC 251. Following her UFC exit, VanZant lost bare-knuckle bouts to Britain Hart and Rachael Ostovich and fought to a split draw against influencer Elle Brooke in a boxing match earlier this year.
