BKFC Spain delivered a thrilling moment when two media members stepped out from behind their desks and into the ring. Oscar Willis, known for running Conor McGregor's website The Mac Life, secured an impressive first-round TKO victory over fellow media professional Ben Davis at Saturday’s event in Marbella. Willis, showing aggressive intent from the outset, overwhelmed Davis with powerful punches that led to four knockdowns in the opening round.
Willis wasted no time asserting his dominance, firing off heavy shots in every exchange. With pinpoint accuracy and relentless pressure, he sent Davis to the canvas four times. Referee Bryan Miner finally stopped the bout at 1:57 of the first round, awarding Willis a decisive win.
The fight, though brief, was packed with action as both men showed incredible heart in the bare-knuckle ring. Willis, appearing fearless, stepped right into the pocket with Davis and unleashed a barrage of punches. Despite Davis’ efforts to fend off the onslaught, he struggled to contain the power and speed coming from Willis.
Davis, a member of the broadcast team for KSI’s Misfits Boxing, showed grit by getting back to his feet after each knockdown. On the third knockdown, it appeared he might have been signaling to stop the fight, but Davis shook off the damage and rose once more. However, the relentless attack from Willis continued, and with one final crushing blow, Davis' mouthpiece flew out, and he collapsed to the mat again. This time, when Davis stood up, the referee made the call to end the bout, concerned for his safety.
Following the stoppage, Conor McGregor rushed into the ring to celebrate the efforts of both fighters, raising their arms in a display of mutual respect after their intense but short-lived battle.
