Muhammad Mokaev showcased his dominance once again at Brave CF 91, dismantling late-replacement opponent Joevincent So with ease on Friday in Bahrain. So stepped in on just two days’ notice after Luthando Biko withdrew, but the short preparation proved no match for Mokaev’s superior skill set.

The fight began with a brief exchange on the feet before Mokaev swiftly executed a single-leg takedown. From there, the undefeated flyweight wasted no time, transitioning to top control and delivering a flurry of ground strikes. Within two minutes of the opening round, Mokaev locked in a textbook D’Arce choke, rendering So unconscious and securing his first finish since a submission win over Tim Elliott in October 2023.

With this victory, Mokaev extended his professional record to an impressive 13-0 (1 NC), adding to his unblemished 37-fight MMA career that includes 23 amateur wins. This dominant performance also marked his return to finishing fights after several decision victories.

Mokaev’s path to this point included seven wins in the UFC, capped off with decision triumphs over Manel Kape and Alex Perez before his departure. Now competing under the Brave CF banner, Mokaev aims to solidify his claim as the premier flyweight in the world.

“I’m ready for everyone in this division,” Mokaev declared in his post-fight interview. “I will be pound-for-pound and the best flyweight in the world. They can deny, but they can’t hide. And I’m coming for everyone in the 125 division. I’m the best flyweight in the world.”

Mokaev’s confidence and track record make him a formidable force in the flyweight division. Fans and competitors are watching closely as he continues his campaign to become the undisputed top fighter at 125 pounds.
