“It doesn’t seem to be panning out, that’s what’s happening,” Perry said. “I’m just like... fine, sure, like offer me somebody, tell me what’s going on. Tell me something! I guess Conor really did fire me. What the f*ck, where’s my fight at?’’

Perry speculates that his inactivity isn’t due to his own actions or the launch of his new "Dirty Boxing" promotion. According to him, BKFC President David Feldman has shown no animosity toward Perry’s side project. Instead, Perry suggests the delay might be due to the reluctance of potential opponents. “[David] Feldman wished me luck, wished us luck, said ‘I hope it goes well,’” Perry explained. “They are very high level in bare knuckle, and I think they’re just trying to find the right thing that they can’t seem to quite make happen.”
Conor McGregor’s Role in the Drama
Perry’s comments about being “fired” by Conor McGregor may have been tongue-in-cheek, but they highlight the lingering influence of the Irish superstar over BKFC.
