The UFC's debut event at Sphere in Las Vegas is set to feature a highly anticipated middleweight clash. According to sources close to the promotion, a bout between Michel Pereira and Anthony Hernandez has been confirmed for UFC 306, also known as Riyadh Season Noche UFC, scheduled for September 14. Pereira initially announced the fight on Instagram, generating excitement among fans.

Michel Pereira has been unstoppable since moving up to the middleweight division. Known as "Demolidor," Pereira boasts a perfect 3-0 record in his new weight class, with all victories achieved in just over three minutes of octagon time. His recent performances have been nothing short of spectacular, securing quick finishes against Ihor Potieria, Michal Oleksiejczuk, and Andre Petroski. These impressive wins have earned him the No. 13 spot in the UFC middleweight rankings.

Pereira's aggressive fighting style and knack for finishing fights early have made him a formidable opponent. As he prepares for his fourth appearance since October 2023, fans eagerly anticipate whether he can maintain his rapid ascent up the rankings with another dominant performance.

Anthony Hernandez, meanwhile, has also been making waves in the middleweight division. Nicknamed "Fluffy," Hernandez enters the bout on an impressive five-fight win streak. In his latest fight, he showcased his grappling prowess by submitting Roman Kopylov in the second round at UFC 298 in February. This victory solidified his position as the No. 14 ranked middleweight in the UFC.

Hernandez was initially set to face Roman Dolidze at UFC 302 in June, but an injury forced him to withdraw from the bout. Now fully recovered, Hernandez is ready to resume his quest for middleweight dominance. His winning streak and well-rounded skill set make him a dangerous adversary for anyone in the division, including Pereira.

Both fighters have shown exceptional skill and resilience, setting the stage for an electrifying encounter at UFC 306. Pereira's striking and finishing ability will be tested against Hernandez's grappling and submission expertise. With both athletes looking to climb the rankings and secure a title shot, this bout promises to be a high-stakes showdown.
