Max Holloway interested in moving upto 155 pounds

After dropping his trilogy fight against Alexander Volkanovski, Holloway made his competitive return in April, defeating Arnold Allen by unanimous decision.

The only thing on Holloway's mind right now is moving up to lightweight, maybe to take on the victor of the forthcoming bout for the "BMF" title between Poirier and Justin Gaethje.

“For sure, there’s the other belts.” Holloway said. “... But it’s always better to go to a different division while you’re holding a belt. That’s just what it is. We’ll see what happens. We’ll see how July pans out, we’ll see how my next fight pans out, and we’ll see.
Who knows? We saw that fun BMF belt, with Gaethje and Poirier. Me and Poirier fought two times [already] and people keep harassing me about Gaethje anyway.

Although there hasn't been any progress made on that front officially as of yet, Holloway thinks that fight—a matchup with fellow living star Chan Sung Jung—will be scheduled next.
