Logan Paul, the YouTube sensation turned WWE superstar, has declared his unwavering dedication to the world of professional wrestling. During WWE's debut on Netflix, Paul proclaimed he is "100 percent committed" to the company, marking a significant shift in his career focus. Once a part-time performer, Paul is ready to prioritize WWE over his myriad ventures.
Paul, 29, has built an empire outside the ring. He co-owns PRIME Hydration with fellow YouTuber KSI, a brand that boasts a sponsorship deal with WWE. In addition, he shares ownership of Lunchly, a snack brand developed in collaboration with KSI and MrBeast. His ventures also include hosting "Impaulsive," one of the world’s most popular podcasts, and running Maverick Clothing, his high-end fashion label. Despite these lucrative pursuits, Paul’s dedication to boxing has also kept him busy; his last match was against Dillon Danis in October 2023.
Rumors have swirled about Paul’s potential return to the boxing ring for a high-profile bout against UFC legend Conor McGregor. Reports suggest a staggering $500 million payday for a fight in India, with McGregor fueling speculation as recently as last Sunday. However, Paul appears resolute about focusing solely on WWE.
While Paul didn’t wrestle during WWE’s Netflix debut, he appeared ringside and featured in a pre-taped promo, signaling his renewed commitment. This development marks a stark contrast to his statements in mid-December when he shocked fans by announcing his retirement from WWE on his "Impaulsive" podcast.
“Come on, I’m retired. I’m a dad, bro,” he quipped at the time.
Paul became a father in September when his fiancé, model Nina Agdal, gave birth to their daughter.
Paul’s U-turn on WWE comes as the company expands its presence on Netflix, a move he believes deserves his full attention. Despite having already won the United States Championship in his three-year WWE career, Paul insists he is now ready to fully embrace the challenges ahead, leaving his side hustles behind for the foreseeable future.
