Kimbo Slice Jr is stepping back into the spotlight as he gears up to fight influencer Bryce Hall at BKFC KnuckleMania 5. The event is slated for January 25 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, promising a night of high-energy matchups. The news, originally reported by TMZ, was later confirmed by Damon Martin through reliable sources.
This isn’t Slice Jr.’s first encounter with influencer fighters. In April 2023, he squared off against OJ Rosé in a four-round boxing match at an MF & DAZN X Series event in New Orleans. Unfortunately for Slice Jr., he suffered a second-round knockout loss. Despite this, his journey in combat sports continues, with an ambition to reclaim his fighting edge.
Before dabbling in boxing and influencer matchups, Slice Jr. made a name for himself in Bellator, where he competed seven times, compiling a 3-3 record with one no-contest. However, he hasn’t won a fight since his submission victory over Devon Brock in April 2018. His most recent victory, at Bellator 232, was overturned due to illegal strikes, leaving him eager to prove himself once more.
Meanwhile, Bryce Hall has been carving out his path in combat sports. Known for his massive online following, Hall made his BKFC debut at BKFC 48 in August 2023, where he defeated Gee Perez via injury stoppage. Hall also has experience in exhibition boxing, though he lost by TKO to fellow influencer Austin McBroom in 2021.
Adding to the KnuckleMania 5 lineup, BKFC President David Feldman announced a fight between combat sports veteran Bec Rawlings and Taylor Starling. Rawlings, a seasoned pro who debuted in MMA in 2011, seeks to end a four-fight losing streak, while Starling aims to bounce back from her recent loss to Britain Hart.
With an intriguing mix of influencer personalities and seasoned combat athletes, KnuckleMania 5 is shaping up to be an unforgettable event for BKFC fans.
