The highly anticipated rematch between Johnny Eblen and Fabian Edwards is back on the calendar. Originally scheduled for Bellator London, their middleweight championship clash will now take place on October 19, 2024, at the Professional Fighters League (PFL) pay-per-view card in Saudi Arabia. This card, already buzzing with excitement due to the main event between Francis Ngannou and Renan Ferreira, just became even more unmissable.

Johnny Eblen, the reigning 185-pound Bellator champion, successfully defended his title against Fabian Edwards in their first encounter, securing a third-round TKO at Bellator 299. Since then, Eblen has continued his winning streak with a split-decision victory over 2023 PFL light heavyweight champion Impa Kasangany in February.

On the other hand, Fabian Edwards has been on a quest for redemption. The younger brother of UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards, Fabian earned his shot at a rematch after a decisive unanimous decision victory over Aaron Jeffery at Bellator Belfast. With four wins in his last five fights, Edwards has his eyes set on reclaiming the middleweight crown.

The event promises fireworks, not only because of Eblen vs. Edwards 2 but also with powerhouse matchups like Cris Cyborg vs. Larissa Pacheco, adding to the stacked PFL PPV card.
