Jermell Charlo Gives Tim Tszyu His Due, but Says He’s Not Worried About Fighting Him

Tim Tszyu’s recent victory over Tony Harrison to claim the WBO interim title impressed WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF champion Jermell Charlo, but he is not worried about facing Tszyu when he is fully recovered from his hand injury. Charlo was originally scheduled to fight Tszyu on January 28th, but was forced to withdraw due to the injury. Tszyu then took the opportunity to challenge Harrison, the only fighter to beat Charlo, and won convincingly.

Charlo said that Tszyu didn’t show him anything new, and that his own style, movement, and power would make Tszyu do completely different things in the ring. While he admitted that Tszyu would be a tough fight because he’s coming forward, Charlo believes he’s perfect for his style.
