In the sixth round of their fight, Jake Paul overcame Mike Perry with three knockdowns before finally securing a TKO victory. From the first round, it was clear that Perry, despite his toughness, was outmatched by Paul's power and precision.

Jake Paul quickly took control of the fight, flooring Perry in the first and second rounds. Although Perry showed remarkable resilience, repeatedly getting back to his feet, he struggled to mount any effective defense against Paul’s relentless onslaught.

Despite moments where the referee considered stopping the fight, Perry’s refusal to quit kept it going until the sixth round. It was then that Paul, seizing an opportunity, landed a barrage of punches that left Perry wobbling. The referee finally intervened at 1:12 in the sixth round, calling an end to the fight as Perry stumbled while trying to regain his balance.

“He’s tough as nails,” Paul said, praising Perry. “I’m sorry it took so long. Respect to Mike Perry. I just hit too hard; he took a lot of damage. I kind of expected that. I put him down in the first round, but he survived it. Mike Tyson, you’re next big boy, sign the contract.”

Paul's plans include a scheduled bout with the 58-year-old former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in November. This fight was initially set for the same night as the Perry fight but was postponed due to Tyson's health issues.

While Tyson remains his immediate focus, Jake Paul didn't hesitate to issue another challenge, this time to UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira.

Before his callouts, Paul had to endure a grueling contest against Perry, who displayed an almost reckless determination to keep fighting despite the punishment he was taking. Paul capitalized on Perry’s lack of defense, landing a powerful overhand right in the first round that sent Perry to the canvas. Though Perry quickly rose, he struggled to cope with Paul's size and reach.

The second round was more of the same, with Jake Paul dictating the pace and landing another huge right hand that put Perry down again. Despite being visibly wobbled, Perry kept pressing forward, even managing to land a significant left hand that briefly rallied the crowd.

However, Paul’s superior technique and power began to tell as he continued to land precise jabs and devastating right hands. By the fourth round, Perry was visibly exhausted, and Paul’s unrelenting assault left him almost defenseless. Finally, in the sixth round, Jake Paul unleashed a final barrage of punches that left Perry unable to continue.

Reflecting on the fight, Perry admitted Paul’s superiority.

“I was trying to roll with the punches and hit your ass back,” Perry said. “You did a great job, you were way too fast for me, and I couldn’t adjust. I tried, but the kid hit me hard. He was too fast and he adjusted. He’s making the right moves and making the right adjustments. He was just too clean, too fast.”

Despite claiming he wasn’t at his best due to illness and a hand injury, Paul was pleased with his performance.

Looking ahead, Paul’s challenge to Pereira seems unlikely to materialize given the Brazilian's UFC commitments. Nevertheless, Paul's decisive win over Perry keeps his momentum going as he prepares for his November showdown with Tyson.
