Four Fighters Removed from UFC Roster

According to the UFC Roster Tracker, which diligently monitors roster changes, Austin Lingo, Johny Munoz Jr., Nick Aguirre, and Terrence Mitchell have all been removed from the UFC roster. It's important to note that removal from the roster doesn't necessarily mean a fighter has been released; it could indicate the completion of their contract without renewal.

Austin Lingo concluded his UFC journey with a record of 2-3 after a five-fight stint. His last appearance in July resulted in a decision loss to Melquizael Costa, marking his second consecutive defeat. Before this, he faced a submission loss to Nate Landwehr, breaking a two-fight win streak that included victories over Luis Saldana and Jacob Kilburn.

Johny Munoz Jr. exits the UFC with a 2-4 record from his six-fight tenure. Debuting in August 2020 on short notice, Munoz Jr. secured a win against Jamey Simmons but faced setbacks with a TKO loss to Tony Gravely and decision losses to Daniel Santos and Aoriqileng.

Nick Aguirre, on the other hand, faced the UFC spotlight for just two bouts. His short-lived stint included a debut decision loss to Dan Argueta and a subsequent third-round submission loss to Payton Talbott in November. Aguirre shared his departure on social media, expressing gratitude for the opportunities and uncertainty about his future.

The final departure is bantamweight Terrence Mitchell, who endured a challenging 0-2 record in the UFC. Mitchell's last bout in September ended with a first-round knockout loss to Raul Rosas Jr., following a debut TKO loss to Cameron Saaiman.
