A clash of strongmen is set to shake the MMA world this spring. Eddie Hall, the 2017 World’s Strongest Man, has revealed on his YouTube channel that he is gearing up to fight five-time World’s Strongest Man winner Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 105. The event is scheduled for April 26 at PreZero Arena in Gliwice, Poland.

“I’ve been trying to get into MMA for a long time now, and the time is now,” Hall said. “The deal landed in my lap to fight Mariusz Puzianowski, so it’s not like I’m jumping into the deep end or anything.”

Although KSW has yet to confirm the bout officially, Hall appears fully committed to his MMA debut. The British strongman is aiming to drop from his current 360-pound frame to around 330 pounds for the fight. Additionally, both fighters negotiated the length of the rounds, settling on four minutes after Hall initially requested two-minute rounds and Pudzianowski pushed for five.

Hall is no stranger to combat sports, having previously competed in a two-on-one bout at the World Freak Fight League against The Neffati Brothers, where he secured a knockout victory. However, this will be his first professional MMA contest.

Meanwhile, Pudzianowski brings a wealth of experience into the cage. The 48-year-old Polish powerhouse has a 17-9 record in MMA, with notable wins throughout his career. However, he enters this bout following back-to-back losses by strikes.

With both men boasting incredible strength and power, their showdown at KSW 105 is set to be a spectacle for fans of both MMA and strongman competitions.
