Darren Till Set for Third Misfits Boxing Bout Against UFC Veteran Darren Stewart

Darren Till is set to continue his journey in the boxing ring, as he prepares for his third consecutive bout under the Misfits Boxing banner. The former UFC welterweight contender will return at Misfits Boxing 21 on March 29 in Manchester, England, where he will square off against another ex-UFC fighter, Darren Stewart.

The matchup was officially announced by Misfits Boxing on Saturday, confirming that Till will step back into the ring at AO Arena.

Since parting ways with the UFC following a submission loss to current middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis at UFC 282 in December 2022, Till has fully embraced influencer boxing. He made a dominant promotional debut just last month, securing a sixth-round knockout victory over Anthony Taylor in the main event of Misfits Boxing 20. Now, “The Gorilla” aims to extend his perfect boxing record to 3-0.

Darren Stewart, known as "The Dentist," concluded his UFC tenure in August 2021 following a knockout loss to Dustin Jacoby. After leaving the promotion, he turned to Cage Warriors, where he compiled a 4-2 record over six fights. Most recently, Stewart suffered a second-round knockout against Carlos Pereira at Cage Warriors 169 in March.

While Stewart has experience in professional MMA, this will be his first foray into the Misfits Boxing scene, making it an intriguing matchup against the more experienced Till.

Misfits Boxing 21 will be headlined by a heated grudge match between KSI and Dillon Danis, adding extra excitement to the card. With Till looking to solidify himself as a major player in influencer boxing and Stewart making his debut in the crossover scene, their matchup is sure to be one of the most anticipated fights of the night.
