Conor McGregor Takes Jabs at Khabib Nurmagomedov

In a recent turn of events, Conor McGregor has once again stirred the pot with his longtime rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov. This time McGregor took to Twitter to mock Khabib over reports that he fled Russia amidst tax evasion charges and had his assets frozen. In a now deleted tweet, McGregor responded to an old Khabib tweet with the remark, "Fast forward he has since abandoned, betrayed, and fled Russia entirely. Leaving his children and mother and wife/cousin behind."

This isn’t the first time McGregor has crossed the line with his comments about Khabib. Following the death of Khabib's father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, due to COVID-19 complications, McGregor made insensitive remarks. Drawing widespread condemnation from the MMA community. He also infamously insulted Khabib’s wife at their wedding, referring to her as a "towel" in a derogatory manner.

McGregor’s latest comments have once again sparked outrage among fans and fighters alike. Many see his remarks as not only unnecessary but also a stark reflection of his character. While McGregor has claimed in the past that his trash talk was "all business," his continued attacks on Khabib outside of any promotional context suggest otherwise.

Khabib, known for his stoic demeanor and commitment to his family, is likely to bring his loved ones with him to the UAE, ensuring their safety and stability amidst the current turmoil. Despite McGregor's provocations, Khabib has maintained a dignified silence, focusing on his family and personal life.

What Do Fight Fans Think?

As the MMA world reacts to the latest chapter in the McGregor-Khabib saga, opinions are divided. Some fans believe McGregor's comments are part of his persona and promotional tactics, while others see them as a step too far, crossing into personal territory that should remain off limits.

Do you think McGregor’s comments are justified, or has he gone too far? Will Khabib leave his family behind, or will he manage to relocate them to his new environment? Share your thoughts and stay tuned with Fight.TV for more updates on this developing story.
