Belcher to Face Dos Santos for Heavyweight Title in Gamebred Bare-Knuckle MMA

The Gamebred Bare-Knuckle MMA promotion is set to make waves as Alan Belcher, alongside former UFC champion Junior dos Santos, gears up for a clash in the heavyweight title bout on March 2 in Orlando.

Jorge Masvidal, the man behind Gamebred, made the announcement on Tuesday, setting the stage for an electrifying showdown. Belcher, who secured a split decision victory over Roy Nelson in his Gamebred debut, brings a wealth of experience to the ring.

Prior to his foray into bare-knuckle MMA, Belcher boasted an impressive 4-0 record in bare-knuckle boxing under the BKFC banner, where he previously held the heavyweight championship before departing the organization.

A seasoned UFC veteran with 15 fights under his belt, Belcher retired from the octagon in 2015, only to return as a bare-knuckle combatant five years later. In addition to his MMA exploits, Belcher has also ventured into the world of boxing, securing a win over social influencer Chase DeMoor in July of last year.

On the other side of the ring, dos Santos, also making his second appearance in the Gamebred promotion, is coming off a split decision victory over Fabricio Werdum in September. Displaying a commitment to bare-knuckle MMA, dos Santos aims to add another accolade to his already illustrious career by challenging Belcher for the heavyweight title.
