Amanda Serrano needed less than two rounds to dismantle Stevie Morgan, earning her first knockout victory in three years in a one-sided mismatch.

In the co-main event of the Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry card, Serrano faced an overmatched Morgan, who appeared overwhelmed from the start. Morgan, visibly intimidated throughout fight week, was set to face the toughest opponent of her career, and Serrano capitalized on her opponent's apparent lack of confidence.

From the opening bell, Serrano unleashed a relentless assault of heavy combinations, showing no fear of retaliation. Morgan was immediately on the defensive, and it was evident that she was struggling to keep up. As soon as the second round commenced, Serrano continued her onslaught, driving Morgan against the ropes with a barrage of punches.

The referee quickly stepped in to stop the fight, awarding Serrano the TKO victory just 38 seconds into the second round.

“It feels great. It feels amazing,” Serrano said after her dominant performance. “I am super blessed to be here. It feels pretty amazing. I think these girls are mistaking my kindness for weakness. I respect the women I go up against. But if you’re not on my level, that’s what happens. I knew this may have been a little bit too much for her. She’s strong, she’s a great fighter. Thank you for taking the fight.”

The bout came about because Serrano didn't want to wait until November for her scheduled rematch with Katie Taylor, set to feature on the same card as Paul vs. Mike Tyson. Seeking to stay active, Serrano found an opponent in Morgan, who unfortunately proved to be more of a sparring partner once the fight began.

Serrano's relentless pressure and powerful combinations quickly overwhelmed Morgan. Recognizing the one-sided nature of the bout, the referee wisely stopped the fight to prevent further damage to Morgan.

Despite the mismatch, Serrano relished the win as she now turns her attention to the highly anticipated rematch against Taylor later this year.

“Hi, Katie,” Serrano said, addressing her future opponent. “I’m ready Nov. 15. I can’t wait to go in there with you once again. This time it’s going to be a lot different.”

Amanda Serrano's dominant performance sets the stage for an exciting showdown against Katie Taylor. Fans eagerly await to see if Serrano can replicate her aggressive strategy against a more formidable opponent in November.
