Rising MMA prospect Adrian Lee, the youngest member of ONE Championship’s famed Lee fighting family, is set to take on his biggest challenge yet. The 18-year-old has booked his third professional fight against undefeated Japanese standout Shozo Isojima at ONE 172, which takes place on March 23 at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.
Lee, the younger brother of reigning ONE two-division champion Christian Lee, has been making waves in the sport with a perfect start to his career. The teenage phenom secured back-to-back submission victories in 2024, showcasing his grappling prowess and fight IQ. His rapid rise in the promotion comes as he continues the family legacy following the closure of their martial arts gym in the wake of his sister Victoria Lee’s tragic passing in 2022.
With Christian now serving as his primary trainer, Adrian is determined to carve his own path in ONE Championship. His older sister, Angela Lee, was also a dominant force in the organization, reigning as the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion before stepping away from competition to focus on mental health advocacy.
On the other side of the cage, Shozo Isojima is set to make his ONE Championship debut. The Japanese fighter enters the contest with a flawless 5-0 record, having built his reputation in his home country under the Gladiator promotion. His breakout year in 2024 saw him rack up four consecutive wins, proving himself as a dangerous competitor in the lightweight division.
As ONE Championship returns to Japan for ONE 172, the highly anticipated showdown between Lee and Isojima adds to an already stacked card.
